The exhibition was shown under the name Par Terre – on the floor – made of earth – or in a broader perspective on Earth. It was this year’s summer venture with eleven of Sweden’s leading ceramicists.
-We have tried to vary the selection to show the breadth of Swedish ceramics today. Kristina Möller writes in the preface. -We welcome the potters to Södertälje Art Gallery and we hope that our visitors will find their favorite pot in an exhibition where the objects are both traditional, playful and sometimes challenging. The eleven potters were Eva Bengtsson, Anna Eilert, Bissa Gunnerström, Kerstin Hörnlund-Grähs, Eva-Marie Kothe-Sjöholm, Maria Pohl, Mari Pårup, Tina Reuterberg, Rigmor Roxner, Agneta Spångberg and Elisabet Svensson.
