This exhibition with comics for adults was shown at the same time as Hampus Hedelius’ The Fate of the Forgotten Sweden (see other text) and was produced by Grafikens hus. Seven artists born in the 70s and 80s showed comics in a section from the last 10 years’ development in the genre. The invited artists were allowed to work freely in Grafikens Hus’ workshop before the upcoming exhibition curated by Sara Teleman and Nina Beckmann.

Artists: Liv Strömqvist, Joanna Hellgren, Hanna Gustavsson, Joanna Rubin Dranger, Mats Jonsson, Julia Thorell, Sara Granér.

In a booklet, they both give a thorough account of the idea and historical background to the exhibition, and lead the way to the new that has been added to the genre, as well as in political and feminist exploration. Another main track has been the modern development novel. The exhibition toured all over Sweden and at each stop both lectures and workshops were arranged. The exhibition included a mobile sofa with comic books for those who wanted to stay a little extra for a read. The exhibition was inaugurated by Nina Beckmann and Sara Teleman and with a live drawing by Emelie Östergren.
