Ur arkivet, visades

19/11 – 19/12, 1971

Before the exhibition, about thirty invitations were sent out to artists in the Southern area of Stockholm. Everyone was welcome to participate with 3 – 6 graphic sheets. Some of the handwritten reply letters are preserved in the art gallery’s archives. Helga Henschen asks if she can contribute with some posters instead. At this time she lived in the church school in Nykvarn, which then belonged to Södertälje.

Dick Bixby ws also invited, a artist from Great Britain.

“Dick Bixby is as much a researcher as an artist. His background as a biologist gives his images high validity; he devotes a significant part of his interest to describing in mechanical terms the emotional elements that govern our behaviors and attitudes. ”.
