Anders Gudmundsson, Natalie Radina Holland, Sverre Koren Bjartnaes, Odd Nerdrum, Johan Patricny, Even Richardson and Christoffer Rådlund.

An exhibition with seven artists who have chosen to bring back the old classic romantic tradition. Preferably, oil paintings were shown, but also some elements of charcoal drawings and etchings. The role models were after the great 17th century masters such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio and Michelangelo. The 19th century romantics from Dresden were also an ideal. All but one artist was active in Oslo at the time, and several of them were former students of Odd Nedrum. One of the artists Johan Patricny was then 20 years old, born and lived in Södertälje. The exhibition at Södertälje konsthall where he contributed sex oil paintings became his debut. Johan Patricny decided early on to learn to paint classically and sought out Odd Nedrum in Norway. After proving his painting ability, he was told that he was welcome to become a student. ”

By Odd Nedrum exhibited the painting “Aftenlendet” or with the English title “The Ultimate Sight”.
